What is laser engraving?
A focused laser burns your design directly into the surface of leather or leatherette, removing material to reveal the layer underneath. The result is a permanent mark with real depth: dark, etched lines against the natural material, with a texture you can feel as well as see.
Because the mark is part of the material rather than something applied on top, there's nothing to crack, peel, or fade. It's the option for brands that want their mark to feel as permanent and considered as the product it's on. We're proud to offer it from our shop in Clarksville, Tennessee, with shipping anywhere in the US.

Why it matters
The mark becomes part of the material.
Permanent by nature
The mark is burned into the material itself, not printed or stamped on top. There's no coating to chip, no ink to fade. What ships is what stays.
Tactile depth no print can match
Etching reveals the layer beneath the surface, creating contrast and texture you can feel as well as see. It reads as premium the moment someone picks it up.
Precision down to the fine line
The laser holds detail that's difficult for embroidery or print to reproduce: thin strokes, small type, intricate marks. Exactly as drawn, every time.
We're just getting started with laser.

What materials can you laser engrave right now?
Today we specialize in genuine leather and leatherette patches, most commonly applied to structured caps and hats. The laser burns the design directly into the material for a permanent, dimensional mark.
Will the engraving fade, peel, or wear off?
No. Laser engraving isn't a coating or print sitting on top of the material. It's burned into the leather or leatherette itself, so there's nothing to chip, peel, or fade with wear and washing.
Can you engrave small text or detailed logos?
Yes. Laser etching handles fine lines and small lettering with a level of precision that's difficult to match with embroidery or print. We'll review your artwork and flag anything that needs simplifying before production.
Is there a minimum order for laser engraving?
No minimum. We engrave a single patch with the same care and precision as a full team order.
